1. Break the rules<\/a><\/strong><\/span>
\nWhile written and unwritten rules are useful in everyday life, they can be serious limitations when trying to solve a tricky situation. Imagine there are no rules and let the sky be the limit.<\/p>\n

2. Do you suffer from the Pike Syndrome?<\/a><\/strong><\/span>
\nBe wary of old habits and common sense. Every once in a while, ask yourself: \u201cWhy do I always do it this way?\u201d and \u201cAre the reasons why I started doing this still valid?\u201d<\/p>\n

14. How To Pick The Best Ideas After A Brainstorm<\/a><\/strong><\/span>
\nAny proper ideation session leads to many good ideas. Unfortunately, you can\u2019t implement them all at the same time. Use the \u2018Brainstorming Evaluation Matrix\u2019 and select the ideas that should be implemented first.<\/p>\n

Before you set everything in motion to make your idea happen, it\u2019s wise to first TEST<\/strong> it. Check your assumptions and collect feedback to improve your idea one last time.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nIt doesn\u2019t matter how good an idea is, if people are not enthusiastic about implementing it failure is imminent. Great ideas quickly die when top- middle- or lower-level employees do not see the benefits. Involve every stakeholder if you want to avoid this.<\/p>\n

\nIf you understand how important it is to have a broad support base for an idea, you\u2019ll see the problem with isolated innovation departments. It\u2019s foolish to expect employees to embrace new products and services when they had nothing to do with the creation of these new concepts.<\/p>\n
